Bendigo brings families together for Children's Week fun day
The City of Greater Bendigo hosted FunLoong Fun Day with games, face painting, animals and live performances.
The three-hour event in Hargreaves Mall and Williamson Street had entertainers, a petting zoo, a bouncy castle and numerous stalls. Face painting, airbrush tattoos, henna painting, craft stalls and roving characters kept kids busy in the spring sun.
Local groups performed didgeridoo, hip-hop and Chinese cultural acts. The Kangaroo Flat Rotary Club sold sausages and vegies, and Coliban Water offered free refills.
