King Charles III's approval hits lowest point since becoming king
King Charles' net favourability dropped to plus 24, his lowest since September 2022.
A new YouGov poll shows King Charles' approval at 58 per cent, with a net favourability rating of plus 24. King Charles' lowest rating since he became king in September 2022 is down four points from the July poll.
Negative opinions of Charles have also risen to 34 per cent. The drop comes as Prince Harry and Meghan returned to the UK, triggering security concerns and school changes for their children.
Charles also paid £1.5 million from his private funds to cover debts his younger brother Prince Andrew owed on a crown-owned property. Meanwhile, Meghan's approval has fallen to minus 48, the lowest score the YouGov tracker has recorded.
