Speakers included NSW opposition leader Kellie Sloane and federal senator Dave Sharma. The speakers drew connections between October 7 and December's Bondi shooting.
That shooting killed 15 people. On October 7, 2023, militants crossed from Gaza into Israel.
They killed over 1,200 people. Israel's ambassador Hillel Newman said there was a direct line between the two attacks.
11-year-old Ben Carasso spoke at the event. His friend's father went missing from the Nova festival.
He was later found to have been killed. Ben talked about children in both countries.
They have lived without normalcy for three years. Pro-Palestine vigils were held in the Sydney CBD.
