Josh Inglis in race against time for Tests after finger fracture

Josh Inglis returned home to Perth for medical scans to check his fitness for the three-Test series against South Africa beginning October 9. Adam Zampa said the injury does not require surgery, which improves Inglis' chances of recovering in time.
The 31-year-old was hoping to add to his five Test caps as a specialist batter in the series. Inglis has a history of badly timed injuries.
He missed the 2022 T20 World Cup after a golf club accident.
