Alison Hammond left ITV's This Morning during a live broadcast on Friday after feeling unwell. The 51-year-old presenter appeared to clutch her chest as co-host Dermot O'Leary helped her off the set.
At 11:30am, she just had to leave midway through a segment about pets. In a video from her hospital bed, Hammond said she had experienced a palpitation during the show and was undergoing tests.
She joked that she was rocking it and still wearing her makeup from the broadcast. Hammond suspects it was a panic attack.
Doctors treating her were described as lovely, and she thanked viewers for their concerned messages. Hammond also co-hosts The Great British Bake Off and has been with This Morning since 2021.
