Kallangur residents ordered indoors as police respond to armed person

Police set up exclusion zones across four Kallangur streets following the armed person report Saturday afternoon.

Queensland Police set up an emergency exclusion zone in Kallangur on Saturday afternoon under the Public Safety Preservation Act. The zone covers Alma St, Ann St, Marsden St and Thompson St in the Brisbane suburb.

Residents inside the zone have been told to stay indoors. Residents outside the zone have been urged to avoid the area.

Police are responding to reports of an armed person inside a home. No injuries have been reported yet.
