Three men charged after home invasion assaults on Sydney women
Three men broke into homes in Sydney's southwest, assaulted two women with knives and robbed them in attacks two days apart.
Three men have been arrested and charged after home invasions and assaults on two women in Sydney's southwest. On Tuesday, police responded to a break-in on Marinea St in Arncliffe.
A 31-year-old woman told officers she had been sexually assaulted by unknown men who forced their way in, threatened her with a knife and stole money. The 31-year-old woman was treated at hospital for minor injuries.
Two days later, a 32-year-old woman reported a trio of men broke into her Bankstown home on Jacobs St, threatened her with a knife and took her money. She too was treated for minor injuries.
Police raided three homes in Belmore, Punchbowl and Greenacre, arresting an 18-year-old, a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old. All three face multiple charges including aggravated break and enter, robbery and assault.
