Trial footage shows Lamarre-Condon surrender to police over double murder

Court-released video shows Beau Lamarre-Condon turning himself in four days after the alleged murders in Paddington on February 19.

The NSW Supreme Court released video footage on Tuesday showing Beau Lamarre-Condon entering Bondi police station to turn himself in. Lamarre-Condon had surrendered four days after the alleged murders of Jesse Baird, a former Network Ten presenter, and Luke Davies, a Qantas flight attendant, in Paddington.

In the footage, a detective tells him: You are under arrest in respect of the murder of two people. Just before arriving at the station, Lamarre-Condon called a police helpline.

Lamarre-Condon said he was having workplace trauma and bullying. The footage is now part of his double murder trial.

Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty. His defence team is arguing self-defence.
