Toia seeks revenge on Bradman Best in grand final centre clash
Toia seeks revenge on Bradman Best in Sunday's grand final after losing their Origin clash.
Robert Toia has declared he wants revenge on Bradman Best in Sunday's grand final after Best claimed bragging rights in their State of Origin clash earlier this season. Best busted six tackles and scored a contentious try that proved pivotal for NSW when he marked Toia.
"I was a bit bummed he only played one game and got one over me," Toia said. "I want to get him back."
Best is one of the NRL's premier big-game players, scoring a hat-trick on his Origin debut and a powerful match-winning try in the 2024 decider. He has had a damaging finals series for the Knights, making linebreaks against both Warriors and Penrith.
Toia praised Best's arsenal of skills: power, speed, agility and a strong fend. Best acknowledged the challenge ahead, saying Toia has been killing it all year and he will have his work cut out.
