Prespakis one vote from AFLW best-and-fairest lead with two rounds left
Geelong's Georgie Prespakis trails North Melbourne's Jasmine Garner by just one vote with two finals rounds remaining in the AFLW best-and-fairest race.
The AFLW best-and-fairest award is on a knife edge heading into the final rounds of the season. Jasmine Garner has 26 votes, just one ahead of Geelong's Georgie Prespakis on 25.
Jasmine Garner and Georgie Prespakis would both be first-time winners if either takes the award on November 23. Gold Coast's Charlie Rowbottom is third on 20 votes, five votes behind Prespakis.
A story within the race: Georgie could become the first sister to each win the award, following Maddy's win in 2020. Former winners Ebony Marinoff and Kiara Bowers are also expected to poll strongly.
