Four men charged with killing cattle to steal in NSW
Police charged four men aged 26, 32, 36 and 51 with killing cattle to steal across multiple investigations in NSW Central West.
The Rural Crime Prevention Team charged the men after a six-month investigation starting in December, when sheep died and lambs were stolen from a property north of Orange. Officers searched four homes in September and October, seizing firearms, ammunition and phones.
All four men were charged with killing cattle with intent to steal. Three were also charged with firearms breaches.
Each was granted conditional bail and will appear at Orange or Parramatta Local Court by the end of November.
