Newcastle cafe finishes Knights mural in five-and-a-half-hour sprint
The Junction cafe painted a massive Knights mural with community help, completing it by 11.30pm Tuesday.
Goodfriends Eatery used a projector to mock up the design. Four adults and four kids worked through the night to paint the Knights colours onto a blank wall on Tuesday.
The team finished around 11.30pm. Already on Wednesday morning, people were lining up to take photos with the new mural.
Other supporters have done the same, painting their own homes and fences red and blue. A professional painter and Knights member put the finishing touches on his Waratah house.
The energy is unmistakable: the whole town is gearing up for the Grand Final.
