Sunderland stuns Chelsea 1-0 with Le Fée penalty winner

Enzo Le Fée's first-half penalty gave Sunderland a 1-0 win over Chelsea, lifting them off the bottom of the Premier League.

Sunderland beat Chelsea 1-0 to escape the bottom of the Premier League, repeating their win over the Blues from last season's final day. Enzo Le Fée scored the deciding penalty in the first half after Levi Colwill fouled Brian Brobbey.

Chelsea fell out of the top four despite playing at home. The victory boosted Sunderland's confidence after a heavy European defeat midweek.

It was also revenge for recent struggles, showing the side can compete against top talent.
