Leeds stuns Tottenham with late Okafor winner
Noah Okafor's substitute goal in the closing stages gave Leeds a much-needed 1-0 win after manager Daniel Farke switched formations at half-time.
Leeds were winless in five league games heading into Sunday's clash, but Farke's tactical flexibility turned the game. After a cagey first half in a 3-5-2 shape, he switched to a back four after the break and Leeds seized control.
The hosts created far more chances and pressed relentlessly. Okafor, brought on as a substitute, fired home late on with the game still goalless.
The goal sent Elland Road into celebration and gave Leeds breathing room before the international break. Tottenham, seeking a fourth straight Premier League win, struggled to generate chances and never truly threatened Leeds goalkeeper James Trafford.
Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi admitted his side lacked the hunger needed in the second half.
