England carries three-series win streak into Pakistan tri-series

Three consecutive ODI series wins have England ready for next year's World Cup.

England has turned around its one-day cricket after years of struggle. A poor World Cup defence in 2023 and a winless Champions Trophy in early 2025 were low points.

England, under captain Harry Brook and coach Brendon McCullum, has won three straight ODI series this year. They've beaten Sri Lanka twice and crushed opponents with aggressive batting and totals over 350.

Now they head to Pakistan for a tri-series starting Tuesday, facing Sri Lanka and Pakistan. It's the next test before next year's World Cup.

Will Jacks has emerged as a key finisher and bowler. India will be England's biggest challenge for the trophy.
