Woman pleads guilty to girlfriend's murder after prison confession revealed
Hannah Louise Glover, 30, changed her plea to guilty after her ex-prison lover gave evidence about a jailcell confession.
Hannah Louise Glover has pleaded guilty to murdering her ex-girlfriend Tara Marie Morrison in a drug-fuelled knife attack at a Busselton home in April 2024. Glover initially pleaded not guilty but changed her plea on Thursday, a day after her ex-prison lover gave evidence describing a jailcell confession about the killing.
Morrison, 38, was found in a wardrobe with about 40 wounds. Blood was splattered on walls, doors, and the floor.
Glover and her then-boyfriend James Anthony Sorgiovanni, 29, allegedly carried out the attack. Sorgiovanni has pleaded not guilty and remains on trial in the WA Supreme Court.
The court heard Glover, Sorgiovanni, and Morrison had been using illicit drugs and were involved in a love triangle. Sorgiovanni was reportedly jealous of Morrison.
