Bournemouth claims historic Europa League win at home against Sturm Graz
Bournemouth beat Sturm Graz 3-1 in the Europa League, marking the club's first competitive European match at home.
Bournemouth defeated Austrian side Sturm Graz 3-1 in the Europa League at the Vitality Stadium, a milestone moment for a club that once played in the Football League's lower reaches. Evanilson scored in the first half with a header, and Rayan added a second in the second half.
Álvaro Rodríguez sealed the win with a penalty in stoppage time. Rose said the team's commitment in European football contrasts with their struggle in the Premier League, where they have not yet won.
The victory follows a win against Real Sociedad away. Milan visit next week.
