Macklemore sells out tour after Sheeran drops him over Gaza comments
All three shows for Macklemore's Free Palestine tour sold out immediately after tickets went on sale this week.
Macklemore announced the tour in early September. Ed Sheeran's promoter had removed him from the Loop tour over comments about Gaza.
The rapper said the three shows in Dublin, Paris and London on October 26, 29 and 30 sold out instantly. Macklemore posted that musicians can stand in solidarity with Palestine and raise funds for humanitarian aid.
Several other artists dropped from Sheeran's tour too, including Finneas, Lukas Graham and Aaron Rowe. Macklemore said the ticket sales show how many people worldwide support a free Palestine.
