Ben Hart returns to Collingwood as assistant coach for 2027
Ben Hart, a four-time All-Australian defender and two-time premiership winner, is appointed assistant coach at Collingwood for the 2027 season.
Hart, 52, coached the backline at Greater Western Sydney this year after joining the Giants at the end of 2022. Ben Hart returns to Collingwood for a second stint, having previously worked under Nathan Buckley between 2012 and 2016.
Ben Hart's Hall of Fame playing career spanned 311 games for Adelaide, where he won two premierships. Hart also coached at the Crows across two stints and most recently led the Northern Bullants in the VFL in 2022.
Collingwood has kept senior assistant Hayden Skipworth and backline coach Jordan Roughead as part of a broader panel reshuffle for 2027.
