Former hostage Daniella Gilboa visits Bondi memorial to support attack survivors

Freed after 477 days as a Hamas hostage, Daniella Gilboa visited Bondi to show solidarity with attack survivors.

Daniella Gilboa was captured by Hamas on October 7, 2023 and was held captive for 477 days. Gilboa was an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldier stationed on Gaza's edge and was released in January 2025 in a hostage exchange.

Now 22, she visited the Bondi Beach memorial where 15 people died in December's attack. She wore a bee brooch honouring 10-year-old Matilda.
