Eva Geller dies
The 90-year-old Holocaust survivor shot during a Hanukkah celebration has died almost 12 months later.
Eva Geller was 90 when gunfire erupted at Archer Park on Bondi Beach on December 14, 2025. Eva was struck in the legs and told by doctors she would never walk again.
Through determination, she recovered enough to walk once more. Eva spent the past year in and out of hospital, eventually becoming bedridden.
She passed away recently. Rabbi Aron Moss said she remained smiling through all her health struggles and attended his synagogue services just months before her death.
Her late husband was also a Holocaust survivor.
