Woman and primary school child found dead outside Melbourne apartment
A woman and primary school-aged child were found unresponsive outside an apartment building on Thursday evening and died at the scene.
Police were called to Prospect St in Box Hill shortly before 6.20pm on Thursday after reports that a woman was unresponsive outside an apartment complex. When emergency services arrived, they also found a child unresponsive nearby.
The woman and child could not be revived and died at the scene. Police said at this early stage they are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
The area has been cordoned off while detectives investigate.
