Andrew Brayshaw watched from the stands in 2021 as his older brother Angus won the premiership with Melbourne at Optus Stadium. As the siren sounded, Andrew and teammate Caleb Serong texted simultaneously: "This needs to be us one day, and we can do it."
That moment changed Brayshaw as a player and gave him clear purpose. Five seasons on, Brayshaw now leads Fremantle's midfield and culture as they prepare for his first grand final.
