Cost of living forces Norm Hogan off Budget Battlers

Norm Hogan is leaving the renovation show because the family can't afford both him and Jess away filming.

Jess Eva's ex-husband and co-host Norm Hogan won't be on Budget Battlers season three, which premiered October 28. The pair had to choose who would stay home with their two children while the other travels for filming.

Norm took the call, stepping back to focus on his building business in country Victoria. Jess explained the decision came down to childcare and travel costs hitting the family hard.

The pair split 12 years together in 2022, though kept it private until 2025. They've managed their co-parenting well since, with Jess saying it's actually easier now they're not married.

Joining Jess for season three are Reno Dad Luke Moore, Brooke Triplett, and Melissa Tkautz from The Real Housewives of Sydney.
