Hawkeye Vintage returns to physical retail in Melbourne after three years
The 14-year-old online vintage retailer is making a temporary return to physical retail in Melbourne.
For 14 years, Hawkeye Vintage has sold designer handbags and jewellery through livestream shopping from Tokyo. The temporary pop-up at 362 Little Collins St runs Thursday to Sunday.
More than 1000 luxury items from Hermès, Chanel and Louis Vuitton are available. Founder Danielle Goodwin says customers want to touch and feel items before buying after more than a decade of online shopping.
Gen Z shoppers are turning away from traditional department stores. They prefer secondhand, vintage and thrift options on platforms like Depop and Vinted.
Goodwin is also launching Hawkeye Beauty with Korean skincare brands in Melbourne and Sydney.
