Missing bushwalker found after six days, home for his 29th birthday

Daniel Trenchard-Harry went missing from his home in Hamilton Valley. Daniel was found in rough bush country south of Albury after six days.
For six days his family suffered what his mother Karen called "unimaginable grief". Hundreds of volunteers, police, the RFS, SES and rescue teams searched the rough scrubland.
A local RFS volunteer named Charlie spotted him asleep by a dam on Sunday, September 27. Charlie wrapped him in blankets until ambulance and police arrived.
After six days in just a T-shirt and shorts, Daniel was very fit. He needed fluids and had severe sunburn but was otherwise in great condition.
He ate cape weed flowers and tried to drink from the dam. He turned 29 on Monday and was home with his family, talking and smiling.
