Nanny called sister moments before fatal plane crash in Florida
A nanny called her sister from a doomed jet moments before it crashed near West Palm Beach, killing all nine aboard.
A Learjet 60 traveling from Austin, Texas to the Bahamas crashed near West Palm Beach on November 1. All nine people aboard died.
One of them was nanny Anita Maria Cetina, 24. She had moved from Colombia two years earlier.
Angie Ramirez Cetina said Anita Maria called her from the plane. The call came shortly before the crash.
Anita Maria showed her sister the two children she cared for. She also showed her the aircraft inside.
Anita Maria told her sister she was happy. She had never been to the Bahamas before.
The families released a statement. It described Cetina as caring for the Robinson children with tenderness and devotion.
