Water leaked through Emirates A380 cabin on Dubai to Istanbul flight
Condensation seeped through an Emirates A380's cabin ceiling on flight EK123 to Istanbul on September 17. Economy passengers got wet.
Water dripped from an exit sign onto travellers shortly after take-off. Passengers used blankets to shield themselves during the five-hour flight.
Crew moved passengers who were wet. Some said they were moved to poor seats without explanation.
Emirates confirmed the leak was condensation and said sorry for the trouble. The airline said no more water appeared and the flight finished on schedule.
This is the second condensation incident on an Emirates aircraft in under a year. A similar leak affected passengers on a London flight in November 2025.
