Ex-cop's obsessive stalking before double murder, jury told

The trial of ex-cop Beau Lamarre-Condon shows prosecutors allege he stalked Jesse Baird obsessively before the February 2024 murders.

Former NSW police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon dated TV presenter Jesse Baird from late 2022 to April 2023. Lamarre-Condon allegedly watched Baird have sex through a window and broke into his home several times.

Lamarre-Condon allegedly deleted messages from Baird's phone and blocked other men. After Baird ended contact in November, Lamarre-Condon faked a cancer diagnosis, using a friend's Instagram to message Baird.

He claimed he needed Baird's deep love to survive. Lamarre-Condon also allegedly asked friends if they could help him get a gun and whether they would help him dispose of a body.

Baird's ex-partner told the jury Baird was petrified and kept saying He has a gun. Lamarre-Condon is accused of murdering Baird and his new partner Luke Davies on February 19, 2024 in Paddington.
