Fox revives Harry Houdini with AI for 100th death anniversary

Fox Nation uses artificial intelligence to recreate magician Harry Houdini for a new three-part series marking 100 years since his death.

Fox Nation released "Houdini: Back from the Dead," a three-part series using AI. The series recreates the famous escape artist 100 years after his death on 31 October 1926.

The creators used more than 400 old photographs and film clips to build accurate images. Actors provided the movements and actions.

AI changed their performances into Houdini's likeness. An AI version of Houdini discusses his life, fears and dangerous escapes in a mock interview.

The series also recreates people close to him, including his wife, mother and brother. This is Fox Nation's first full show made entirely from AI images.
