Man who rejected corrections orders remanded in custody
Troy Scott was remanded in custody after rejecting corrections orders.
Troy Scott, 29, appeared in Hamilton Magistrates Court on September 9. Scott was held in jail until October 14.
Scott faces charges for two breaches of community corrections orders and four other matters. Scott repeatedly turned down the court-ordered corrections orders.
He even offered to serve four months in jail instead. Scott has a history of dishonesty crimes and drug and alcohol problems.
His lawyer said he is a heavy cannabis user. His past methamphetamine issues have been resolved.
All bail was taken away. The matters should end with a single guilty plea.
