Kic launches hydration products at 480+ stores nationwide

Kic is rolling out hydration products across more than 480 Priceline Pharmacy, Priceline and The Memo stores.

Kic was founded by Steph Claire Smith and Laura Henshaw. The wellness company is moving beyond its digital fitness app and first fitness studios into bottled products.

Kic launched two hydration ranges this month: one for everyday use and one for pregnancy and postpartum. Kic developed both ranges with an accredited practising dietitian.

Kic created the everyday range because electrolyte products targeting high-intensity athletes left regular people underserved, Henshaw said. The everyday range has more potassium than sodium, unlike typical sports drinks.

The founders said the move into physical retail required learning to plan much further ahead than their usual app updates. Demand for electrolyte drinks has grown sharply.

Per capita consumption rose 64 per cent over six years to mid-2024.

AustraliaAustralians now have access to Kic's hydration products at local chemists and supermarkets, supporting the company's growth as an Australian wellness brand.
