Teenage boy attacked by group at Ellenbrook dog park, WA Police investigating

A group of teenagers assaulted a boy at Ellenbrook's Coolamin dog park, with the attack filmed and shared widely.

A teenage boy was beaten and threatened with a knife by a group of youths at Coolamin dog park in Ellenbrook. The 31-second video shows the boy being punched, kicked and stomped while surrounded by the attackers.

One youth demanded he remove his clothing as others filmed on their phones. The gang threatened the boy with a large knife during the assault.

WA Police Minister Reece Whitby said he was "absolutely disgusted and angry" at the violence, noting that one wrong move with the knife "could have ended a life". Police are investigating but say no formal complaint has been made to them yet.
