Man denied bail after third breach of court order
Lewis Shrubb, 34, was refused bail after returning to a banned Camperdown address twice in two days with a knife.
A man subject to a court order banning him from a Camperdown address has been refused bail after breaching it repeatedly. Lewis Shrubb, 34, attended the property on September 29 and again on October 10 despite the month-long ban.
On the second visit, he carried a knife and cut a hole in the wall with a power tool, claiming people were inside. The woman at the address hid in her yard in fear.
Police told Warrnambool Magistrates Court that Shrubb suffers mental health issues and psychosis worsened by methamphetamine use. He was remanded in custody until November 9 and charged with three counts of breaching court orders.
Magistrate Simon Guthrie said no conditions could reduce the risk, and Shrubb showed no regard for the court order.
