Man hospitalised with life-threatening leg injury after 5-metre pool jump
A man in his 20s suffered a serious leg injury jumping into a pool from 5 metres in Hawthorne.
A man in his 20s was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital on Saturday night after suffering a potentially life-threatening leg injury. The injury happened after a pool jump went wrong in Brisbane's Hawthorne.
Emergency services were called to a home about 11.22pm. Reports said the man had been hurt in a fall.
He had tried to jump into the pool from a five-metre height. Paramedics treated him at the scene.
Then they took him to the hospital for more care.
