NSW officer asked friend about killing before alleged Paddington murders
A NSW police officer allegedly asked a friend nine months beforehand, 'What would you do if I told you I killed somebody?'
Officer Beau Lamarre-Condon, 31, asked a friend what she would do if he told her he had killed someone. The question came nine months before he allegedly shot Jesse Baird, 26, and Luke Davies, 29, in Baird's Paddington home in February 2024.
Lamarre-Condon had become infatuated with Baird during a brief 2023 relationship. After they split, he watched Baird's home, stole a Polaroid camera, and ate an Easter egg from inside.
The officer pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder and aggravated break and enter. Baird ended their second relationship in November 2023, and Lamarre-Condon was deeply upset.
