Iran says latest US reply to war talks is insufficient
Tehran is no longer responding to Washington, which has accepted some of seven conditions.
Mohsen Rezaei, head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, called the latest US response insufficient. Rezaei said Iran is no longer responding to the US, and that Washington must clarify certain issues.
The US has accepted some of the seven conditions, but others remain unclear. Negotiations to end the war and fully open the Strait of Hormuz are moving slowly.
Iran proposed a faster deal at the UN in September, and it was rejected. Both sides have remained in contact.
Rezaei also threatened 'cables, data centres, AI facilities and other sites in the region' if intense fighting breaks out again. The Guard's navy warned that any ship that switches off navigation and identification systems would be 'identified as hostile', IRNA reported.
Attacks on ships in the strait have increased since the proposal was rejected. One was reported on Sunday.
