Sunrise producer gets surprise NFL tickets to MCG game
A Sunrise producer was surprised with tickets to the MCG's historic NFL game.
Sunrise presenter Katie Brown surprised producer Alex with tickets to see the San Francisco 49ers take on the Los Angeles Rams at the MCG. Alex's dad Paul, a passionate 49ers fan, was part of the surprise.
During a live Sunrise segment, Katie quizzed Alex on some Jonas Brothers lyrics before revealing the news and Paul walking onto set. The family dinner had been cancelled to keep them apart until the moment.
Paul had received a mysterious phone call earlier in the week asking him to come to Melbourne, which his wife initially thought was a prank. Tickets to the match are notoriously hard to come by.
Alex got to watch the game and then see the Jonas Brothers perform at halftime.
