Silva claims UFC flyweight title as Shevchenko vows to reclaim it

Natalia Silva claimed the vacant UFC flyweight title at UFC 332 in Salt Lake City on Sunday with a dominant unanimous decision over Wang Cong. The Brazilian fighter extended her unbeaten streak inside the octagon to nine fights.
Judges scored the bout 48-47, 48-47 and 49-46 across five rounds. Silva's climb to the belt included wins over former UFC champions Jessica Andrade, Alexa Grasso and Rose Namajunas.
Her winning streak now stretches to 15 fights since 2017. Former champion Valentina Shevchenko, who left the title to recover from injuries, quickly posted on social media: "Don't get too comfortable, keep it warm, I'm coming soon for my belt!"
