Central Coast man jailed six years for viewing live child abuse
A 63-year-old Central Coast man was jailed for six years for watching live child sexual abuse.
A 63-year-old Central Coast man was sentenced on Friday to six years jail with a four-year non-parole period for watching live online child sexual abuse. The Australian Federal Police arrested him after getting a report about conversations on child sex trafficking and possible live streaming.
Police found devices in a search and discovered a nine-minute recording of live abuse he had watched. The man sent $46 to a Philippines account and exchanged child abuse images with a different person overseas.
The AFP shared information with Philippines law enforcement, who ran an operation in Bulacan on June 3. Three children were freed from harm.
A 43-year-old woman was charged with child exploitation crimes.
