Jayden Short explores Collingwood move after Richmond years
Jayden Short has met Collingwood and is open to moving, with two years left on his Richmond deal.
Short has already sat down with the Pies, who are keen to recruit him under coach Craig McRae, a former assistant who worked with him at Richmond. The two-time premiership Tiger has made clear his desire to explore moves elsewhere and will meet more clubs next week as the trade period kicks off.
McRae's Collingwood list boss Justin Leppitsch flagged the deal will be tough to pull off, but noted it is not impossible. Short has played 211 games for Richmond since 2016.
