Luke Pedlar, 24, has asked Adelaide to trade him to Port Adelaide, the Crows' cross-town rivals. Pedlar turned down interest from Essendon in Victoria.
Pedlar was drafted 11th overall in 2020 and kicked 48 goals from 49 games early in his career, but played only 10 matches in 2026 and fell out of favour under coach Matthew Nicks. Injuries have plagued his recent seasons.
He will join a small group of players to represent both South Australian clubs.
