Talbragar River farms listed at $13,000 a hectare for crops
Two properties on the Talbragar River, totalling 863 hectares, are being sold through an expressions of interest process.
Yallambee has 418 hectares and Rangeview has 445 hectares. The two are in the Coolah/Cassilis district and have been run as one farm for years.
Yallambee is good for cropping, with 324 hectares now planted. Rangeview is grazing country with quality pastures.
The price is $13,000 per hectare for the cropping land and $8,350 per hectare for the grazing block. The combined farm has held about 400 cows and calves, 2000 ewes and lambs, or up to 600 finished cattle alongside grain crops.
Water comes from reliable bores and the Talbragar River runs through Yallambee. Expressions of interest close November 12.
