Daisy Pearce commits to West Coast AFLW through 2028
West Coast has re-signed Pearce for two more seasons, tying the coach through the end of 2028.
Daisy Pearce has extended her contract as West Coast's AFLW coach for two more years. Pearce led the Eagles to their first AFLW finals appearance last year after nearly three seasons in the role.
This season began poorly at 0-4, but four wins from the past five games have kept West Coast in finals contention with just three rounds remaining. The Eagles need to win all three of their final games, against the Cats, Swans and Hawthorn, to secure a top-eight spot.
West Coast legend John Worsfold said Pearce has all the skills needed to become the first woman to coach an AFL team.
