SA Health finds no records of baby or mother in system
Health authorities cannot find any record of the baby or his 42-year-old mother in SA Health databases.
A search of South Australian health records has found no data on the baby boy or his mother, Yue Ning Lieu, discovered dead at the Tollgate Motel in Glen Osmond on October 10. Health Minister Blair Boyer said if they had visited any SA Health site, the visit would appear in the shared electronic medical record system.
Post-mortem testing showed the boy was aged between six and seven months and had been deceased for some time. Police have charged the child's parents with criminal neglect and concealing human remains.
The family had been staying at the motel since arriving in South Australia at the start of the year.
