Michael Douglas revealed in his memoir One Helluva Ride that he and actress Kathleen Turner had a secret affair while filming 1984's Romancing the Stone, despite denying the relationship for decades. The two-time Oscar winner also disclosed a second affair with Basic Instinct co-star Jeanne Tripplehorn in 1992, while married to Diandra Douglas.
Douglas wrote that he considered leaving his marriage for Tripplehorn but stayed with his wife. He reached out to both women before the memoir's release to ensure they were comfortable with the stories.
Douglas and Diandra divorced in 2000, and he later married Catherine Zeta-Jones.
