Queanbeyan Show brings motocross stunts and Sesame Street guests
The historic show adds motocross stunts, a military band, and Sesame Street characters to its two-day November event.
The Queanbeyan Show is preparing for its biggest lineup. The show approaches its 130th birthday.
The two-day event runs November 7 and 8. The Freestyle Kings motocross team will perform stunts.
The Band of the Royal Military College from Duntroon will perform for the first time. Elmo and Cookie Monster are visiting from Sesame Street.
Traditional attractions return: dagwood dogs, showbags, pavilion displays, and the DockDog national titles. Committee vice-president Brent Hunter said volunteers have worked all year.
They want to deliver the biggest event yet. Family passes cost $50.
Adult tickets cost $18. Children under six enter free.
