Chris Fagan draws interest from Carlton, Melbourne and Tasmania
Fagan will move to Melbourne in January and does not plan to take time off from football.
Former Brisbane Lions coach Chris Fagan is set to return to AFL soon. Carlton has been strongly linked with Fagan.
Melbourne has also expressed interest, and Tasmania has made contact. Fagan previously worked at Melbourne as Neale Daniher's assistant in the early 2000s.
7NEWS reporter Tom Morris said Fagan wants a full-time football role, ideally at a Victorian club. Fagan admitted he was worn out after 10 years in charge of the Lions.
Fagan will not officially finish with the Lions until mid-to-late October. The Lions will meet potential replacements this week, including former West Coast premiership coach Adam Simpson.
Cam Bruce, a Lions assistant, remains the favourite and is expected to get a formal interview.
