Wallaroos squad named for Scotland Test with Stewart back, Halse sidelined

Maya Stewart returns to the wing after an Achilles injury. Fullback Caitlyn Halse misses out due to concussion symptoms.

The Wallaroos announced their squad for Saturday's Test against Scotland at Sydney's Stadium Australia. The Wallaroos brought back experienced winger Maya Stewart, a 27-Test veteran, after she recovered from an Achilles tendon injury.

Stewart replaces injured fullback Caitlyn Halse, a 20-year-old ruled out with concussion symptoms. Desiree Miller moves from the wing to fullback to cover Halse's absence.

In the forwards, captain Siokapesi Palu Sekona and Pia Tapsell swap positions. Sekona moves to blindside flanker.

Tapsell moves to number eight. The squad also features returning players Eva Karpani and Cecilia Smith on the bench, along with new faces Allana Sikimeti and Piper Simons.
