Jelena Dokic shares trauma guides in new book Live Free
The tennis champion released Live Free, a practical guide drawing on her journey from abuse and eating disorder to freedom.
Jelena Dokic, now 43, has turned her trauma into a mission to help others. Nine years after her memoir Unbreakable became a Logie-winning documentary, she released her third book, Live Free.
The book moves beyond her personal story to offer practical worksheets and tools. The book tackles shame, perfectionism, self-worth and body image, drawing on lessons she wishes she'd had while struggling.
Dokic travels extensively, making more than 100 flights a year and about 70 speaking engagements. She makes time to speak with people who share their own stories of family violence and mental health struggles.
She says finding her voice to tell her story was when freedom truly started for her.
